An ICE agent I chatted with at 'a shooting place' keeps a Saiga 7.62x39 plus a .40 handgun in his car, and practices often in order to stay prepared. He knows every small detail of the ambush and murder of two West Memphis policemen not very long ago by a father/son set of "sovereign citizens".
allaroundhunter: Yor read my mind about the Garand. It worked quite well in several wars. Some of us have nothing to patrol.
My b.-in-law was a guest of his friend near the AZ border, and the friend owns a well-established, premier horse riding school (they teach the better instructors).
What would you guys patrol with if you lived (or live) near the southern border and own lots of land?
