Just ordered 2 cans of SS109 and 2 full cases of SA 7.62. Also bought 300 rounds of 45acp some .357 and some 40SW from wally world and sportsmans warehouse. And since I still had some extra dough burning a hole I bought a new Marlin lever action .357 and a Kimber compact. Now if it the weather clears a bit and the wind calms down I'm gonna go use some of that ammo so I can have an excuse to buy more!

works for me

"So I’m making a personal appeal to all gun owners and Second Amendment supporters in the United States:

Please buy 100 rounds of your favorite ammunition on week of November 11-19, 2006."

Works for me. There's a gun show in town on the weekend of Nov 11 - 12. Guess what I'll be buying.

Update:

HA! FOUR hundred? That's for schoolgirls. I went to Old Don's in Christiansburg and bought a case of Wolf .223

I hope I done did Mister du Toit proud.

Guys, a lot of this is about timing. Don't buy ammo until the week of 11NOV-18NOV. 100 milllion in sales spread out over two weeks is 50 million week - less than half of the impact on whomever is watching than spending all of that money over the called for one week span.

All of you guys that already bought yours are gonna have to pony up and buy more. The point is to buy it on the week of Nov 11.

I just bought in 9mm: 500x 124 gr +P Gold Dots, 250x 124 gr +p+ Hydra Shoks, 250x 124 gr +P Golden Sabers, 500x Federal 115 gr FMJ

in .357: 250x 148 gr Fiochi , 250x S&B 158 gr FMJ, 500x Federal Hi-Shok JHP

in .38 spcl: 250 x WWB 130 gr, 500 x Remington Express 158 gr SJHP.

But now I am gonna have to wait and buy some more on ammo week. I think I need to get a new gun so that I will need another caliber. If the Dems win on election day I am gonna have to go out and get my AR-15 before they are illegal, so I will need plenty fo 5.56 NATO/.223. Or maybe something in 30-06, 44 mag, 10 mm, or .308. Decisions, decisions.

I'm in.

I really got in the spirit and celebrated early this weekend at the Indy 1500. I'll have to celebrate again on the proper week. :D

Ok, I just ponied up for 1000 rounds of shotgun ammo, but I'll have to do the same the week of the 11th.

No biggie, I've been buying ammo like mad lately, so I'll just keep this fire burning.

I've got my list and I'm all ready to go...just waiting for the week...rock 'n roll!
A little .303, some .30-30, some .38 special, and .22s, .22s, .22s !! :D
Mark.
edit...How did I forget the .45s ?

I'm In!

I been wanting some .308 anyway. I'll just wait one more week before buying. Anyone got a good source?

count me in . . . my daugher and I are burning 300 rounds a week as it is so this won't be any hardship! :) I'll make sure that these aren't reloads though. :)

Have a good one,
Dave

I'll buy in, I get paid the day before it starts and I haven't replaced the ammo my son and I shot the last time we went to the range.

National Ammo Day/Week

Don't Forget that today, November 19th, kicks off National Ammo Day/Week. I've already bought my 200 rounds of ammo today. Don't forget!!

National Ammo Week started last week 11/11 and ends today 11/19. Bought a case of .22 lr Wolf Match Extra yesterday.

started last week 11/11 and ends today 11/19

I knew it was a week long and had today in it. I just forgot that Sunday was the last day of the week.:scrutiny:

:neener: Anyways, I bought my ammo today. And if you haven't made a run to your nearest WM, Gunshop, etc. do so before it is too late.

I'm in, just to annoy the bliss-ninnies. I bought 50 rounds of .45 acp, and 50 rounds of .45 Colt.

While I was at it, I bought a Ruger Blackhawk that can shoot both rounds.
