Need help buying my first AK please!

I'd stack one of the cheapo AMD-65's against any other AK. Nothing wrong with a century either as long as the sights are on straight and it feeds. Seems lots of guys making a big deal about a particular maker of probably the most mass produced rifle in existence. It either works good or it don't. No need to spend a fortune.

I've already done that. That's why I posted what I did. This ain't my first rodeo friend. I've shot a bunch of AK's. What do you think they do better? They certainly aren't more accurate. I've gone one that I've had 21 years that hasn't jammed more than 25 times through many thousands of rounds and those problems were directly connected either to putting new parts on that wouldn't work with old parts or using ammo that just wasn't up to snuff. I don't know how you get more reliable than that. And I know for sure the accuracy is better on most SKS's.

Let's put it this way. I have owned both. I now have 2 SKS's and no AK's and I won't be getting any more AK's.

And since you want to play testing games YOU come to Ohio and we'll see. You think I'm driving to Kansas to prove what I already know? I've been to Kansas. I wasn't impressed that much. Too flat.

Are you out of jr. high yet? Because your posts don't indicate you are. I've seen hundreds of posts that agree with me friend. I don't have any idea what you're laughing about anyway. The fact I don't think much of Kansas? Or is it that I think an SKS is almost certain to be more accurate than an AK? And just so you know, most Saiga's are not AK's at all.

Whatever the case I'm just going to drop this here. Talk to me again when you grow up or maybe when you come through Ohio.

You don't know how old I am, where I've been, or what I've done. Not a clue.

Then you have the nerve to badmouth a historically Red / Pro-2A state like Kansas from it's very beginnings, while you yourself are in a "swing" state known to flip-flop every time the wind blows.

Then you want to insinuate that AK's are less reliable and can't take the abuse of an SKS when in fact both rifles have a pretty stellar performance record. The reliability of the Kalashnikov action is still the Gold Standard today that manufacturers of other weapons still try to match or beat without success so far.
You must have had some total bottom basement garbage AK's.

But somehow, "I" am the one who needs to grow up, and "you" don't understand what I'm laughing at?
