The California awb suffered major damage monday. It's only a matter of time before it falls and the rest will come down like dominoes. My wonder is that the gun is not compliant in some major states and wouldn't be if a new AWB comes into practice. Wonder if they are sanguine about the state of upcoming gun laws?
The PCCs that Ruger makes can be made compliant to ban states. I don't see how this one can.
Did Ruger buy any ammo manufacturers from the defunct Remington?I remember people saying 5.7x28 was a dead cartridge and wasn't going anywhere.
I get that. I used to think the same of Lucas Botkin and there is something about his face and tone that makes me dislike him but if you can get past that, his videos are pretty awesome if you like pushing your gear to the limits and shooting fast and I gotta give him credit, for somebody who doesn't really compete, he's got skills. But, if I had the money to put a hundred thousand rounds through my stuff in one year, I'd be gnarly fast too.I normally like Gun Talks with Tom Grisham, but his son reminds me of a Spoiled brat with a lifted truck that daddy paid for.
Anyways, 5.7 carbine is something nobody asked for. in a 20+ round handgun or a full auto sub-gun with AP rounds, yes. But it pretty much has the powder of a .22 mag.
I have the Ruger 5.7, great light gun
hopefully, 5.7x28 will come down to 9mm rates! it’s the worst round to reloadI get that. I really like the idea of that ruger 5.7 rifle and considered a 5.7 for a period of 1 year. In that entire year I took note of every opportunity I would have had to buy ammo from my few local/semi local haunts. I only saw 5.7 ammo for sale a total of 4 times after many trips and it was outrageously expensive imo, and this was back in like 2017 during the good times. Of course I could have ordered it and stocked up, but I won't have anything to do with a cartridge that isn't common enough to be at my LGS on a regular basis.
Now if they came out with one in .22WMR I might consider it.
I can't even imagine trying to reload for an afternoon of plinking for 5.7hopefully, 5.7x28 will come down to 9mm rates! it’s the worst round to reload
you didn’t save the brass! lolI can't even imagine trying to reload for an afternoon of plinking for 5.7
I love everything about it, except for the cost and availability. It's such a fun plinking cartridge and what I regard as a purely tactical/defensive cartridge, it's just too bad that it's so expensive. I went out and shot with a couple buddies when the FN 5.7 first came out and my buddy emptied his wallet on a couple cases and had absolutely no regard for how much shooting we did, on his dime. We shot well into the night, we just pumped mag after mag through that FN, then we used the WML he had on it for shooting in the forest and had targets set up everywhere. It is such a fun gun to shoot. Scary accurate too.....
a PCC in .45 acp or 10mm
I'd like to see them encourage their new acquisition, Marlin, to develop an 1894 lever gun in 10mm.
Had to watch over half the video to actually see the gun. Black gun in front of Black shirt equal invisible gun
When I finally got yo see the gun a left handed firer obscured the gun with his non firing arm.
Hope someone makes a better video.

I thought something like what cz/Brno would make. Also the aesthetics look like joint venture between keltec and high point.
