No longer in business, but my best SR9c holster is from Zlogonje.Eventually though I did get a nice DeSantis holster for it that fit perfectly and hugged my body for a really great fit.

Thanks for the tip; never would have thought of that particular match-up between those two guns! When I bought my SR9c the only holster I found for it was a generic fitting Bianchi Minimalist holster which fit several different guns. Eventually though I did get a nice DeSantis holster for it that fit perfectly and hugged my body for a really great fit.

This is a funny comment right here. Typical new gun owner that doesn’t know the history of SA.
I'll 'bet' that Glock could have come up with a 15R magazine for Glock 43x and 48 if they wanted to. The demand, as they saw it, was for a thinner, single stack Glock 19--->>Glock 48....I shoot and carry my G48 all the time. I had a Glock 26 with a sleeved Glock 19 magazine(same grip length and WIDTH as G19) and like the grip width of the G48 MUCH MORE. I carry a ShieldArms G15R magazine..but when I shoot the G48, I use the 4 10r mags..
Put one or 2 on backorder..yes you have to pay up front but..I did and got mine in about 3 weeks.I think so too. I still haven't been able to order those Shield mags, they're always out of stock.
I like Ruger , I carry a Ruger , but for the love of sweet God , why isn't these new pistols offered in a 45acp ? The last few years it seems that everything is 9mm.
I think this new Max could be done in 45, but I doubt it will happen until sales subside some.I like Ruger , I carry a Ruger , but for the love of sweet God , why isn't these new pistols offered in a 45acp ? The last few years it seems that everything is 9mm.

It does look intriguing. I have a RAP compact in 9mm that has 12 rd. magazines available. But with only a 1/4" difference in barrel length, the Max, I'm sure, would be more concealable. And it shouldn't be hardly any difference in velocity.I keep looking at that new MAX-9 and saying NO...then I look again and say PROBABLY NOT..now I'm down to maybe. I don't know what it is but there's something about that gun that intrigues me. Have to get my hands on one and see how it feels.
I carry a Kimber Micro 9 in rotation with an HK P30SK and a Sig P365XL that have similar length barrels. They all demonstrate adequate velocity. It does look intriguing. I originally bought the P365 to pocket carry. It didn't work out for me. This MAX-9 might fill that bill. It's a little skinnier, it appears the 10 shot has a slightly longer grip that would allow 3 fingers, and a little stouter grip to fill the hand.
I hear you...I added a Hogue Handall on my P365 and it helped some...should have known it wouldn't work entirely as I added one on my XL too and it made it great. P365 grip just to small for me. Liked the grip on my Kimber Micro 9 until I added the Hogue on it...now it's perfect for me. I guess my hands are between the grip sizes they use...lol. The MAX-9 grip looks thicker front to back..that might make the difference. The perfect grip is the HK with customizable sides and rear giving 27 different grip options.Yeah, I had kinda wanted a 365 for a pocket gun too and it's just too big. All those micro 9 high(er) caps are about the same for me. Too big for pockets but too small for belt carry since a Glock 26 or M&P subcompact (or insert your favorite plastic subcompact) conceals just as well for me.
And too thin in the grip to shoot as well as their chunkier true double stacks.
At least for me, YMMV and all that.

I certainly found the 365 too thin. The Hellcat and the Glock 48 felt better in the shop, but I never have had a chance to fire them yet.
I’m in the market for a carry pistol. This looks like a good thing to consider. Ruger autos typically don’t do a thing for me, but the last few years they are looking more normal and less ugly.
