With the introduction of Glocks 41 and 42, what do you think the next one will be? I am hoping the next one will be a compact 10mm firearm, with the Glock 24 name fitting their scheme. The 20 and even in the SF seems really large for my hands but on the same side the 29 is too small for 10mm.

Nevah ben done befo? It has.

Glock 24 already exists.........its a long slide .40cal. The sister to the Glock 17L.
(and not long slide in the pansy way many Glockophiles call their 34/35/41's..........I mean long slide as in 6.02inches of barrel goodness)

Possibly the long slide version of the 10mm or 357 Sig. Like other people said, they may start making single stack versions of various sizes.

Other than those options, I really don't know. They have all the possible auto calibers that you can readily find ammo for except the 38 Super and I can't imagine a Glock in 38 Super as it wouldn't offer anything the 357 Sig doesn't.

Slim line/single stack versions of their guns may sell well to people looking for better concealment, states and countries with limited magazine capacity and people with small hands.

Did not know that. I was going off the chart Glock has on their website of their "full line."

Still would like to see a compact framed 10mm. Honestly I think Glock will be too late to the party with the single stack 9mm market. Single .380s were the big thing before and they just made one of those.

They wont make a single stack 9mm on the 42 frame. Their next project will be a 22lr/22mag/17hmr convertible using the 42 frame.

All of us happy G29 users will be shocked to know that the G29 is too small for 10mm!

Maybe they will make a 5.7x28mm to compete with fn, while making it more affordable. Lol jk. Probably the single stack 9mm everyone is begging for. I sure hope this is next so I can stop seeing people begging for this gun. For heavens sake glock, give the people what they want!!!

Cut a little there, add a little there...

It's not like their innovative since the early 80's

It will be a single stack 9mm. It is all about business for the reason why they released a single stack 380 before 9mm. The sales of the G42 would be greatly reduced if they released the Single stack 380 after the 9mm.

I don't know about that. It would be the logical way to think. But they take many other things into consideration. Like what sells in other markets. For the US it may cut into their 380 market, but perhaps worldwide things are different. I would like to see a 9 and 40 single stack, but that makes too much sense, plus would it compete with the 26,27 ? It can't be that much slimmer, can it, and is it worth it to them. Will whatever they do, pull from existing models? Maybe a carbine/AR type gun that would really be different than what is out there now.

The next Glock will be a revolver. Take a look at this exclusive prototype:

Set up for moon clips!

JK!!!! Fake picture! :neener:

The Glock corporate folks need to listen up right here...we needed a single stack slimline 10 rd. G-26 9mm before we needed another .380, this ammo is overpriced & underpowered compared to 9mm. And we want a .22LR conversion kit for the single stack G-26. That G-42 is a nice piece but you'll have a hard time carrying it. And we darn sure don't want any more Glocks chambered in 45 G.A.P.! What we need is a "Commander" length G-20 & 21! Oh, & we want a .40 S&W drop in accessory barrel for the Commander G-20!
