Forum stats say we have almost 38K members (just over 9K "active" members). I don't want to know who you voted for. I just want to know if you've voted. When you have, sound off.

I voted.

Mods, putting this in "General" rather than "Legal and Political" because this seems to be the most frequented forum.

I voted, as futile a gesture as it was. We have an anti freedom Democrat running for governor here and it looks like he is going to win. :barf:

Yup, voted a week ago. I like early voting. Of course I voted on a "rigged" Diebold machine :)

Voted by absentee ballot (almost the only way here in western Washington) and now th only thing is to wait for the results. After the last gubernatorial election where more and more ballots were being found, I'm not so sure if anything counts any more.

Me too.

I fully expect that public official "A" will serve as governor for only a short period of time. Then we will have an unknown take over.

For those of you who are not familiar with Illinois politics, public official "A" is about to be indicted by the feds for corruption. Most people believe it is the current governor. The Lt governor is a relative unknown, but is part of the Chicago machine so is undoubtedly just as dirty, although he has tried for many years to claim to be some kind of reformer.

Democratic voters do not care about the character issue, and Republican voters punish the party for lapses thereof. So, I fully expect Public official "A" to be re-elected. On the other hand, one never knows. In my area, there are some races that are a lot closer than they ought to be. It will probably turn on who can get their voters to the polls.

104 people had voted this morning at my polling place by 7:45 am. Three precincts - about 2500 registered voters. One of the election judges for my precinct said he expected about 80 of 800 registered voters to actually vote.

Me Me Me!!!

I voted!
(R) all the way here in South Florida. All candidated I voted for had either A+ or A from NRA :D
Also voted YES to amendment 3, so that it takes more votes (60% instead of 50%) to change s**t like gun laws. So far so good down here in FL. Hope they all win!

P.S. Keep in mind the busiest voting times are lunch time and late afternoon/evening. So no worries about low turnout in the morning.

Not yet, got called in early today..but I will be in line this afternoon about 4:00PM....

Foggy says, grumbing to himself "Now where is that darn button marked "TATBO"...Throw All The Bums Out?"

I'll pretty much be voting that way...hopefully throwing out the bums, while keeping the good guys, and bringing in MORE good guys.

I VOTED!

Don`t forget to stop by the polls on the way home from work this afternoon if you didn`t hit them before work. Voting is the one thing we can do to insure our rights, all of them!

I voted.
In our gubenatorial race here in PA, its the Super Bowl hero (Lynn Swann) vs the crooked, anti-gun politician (Ed Rendell) The polls say we're in for 4 more years of crooked governing, but I sure hope the polls are wrong.

I voted. And I have a story!

I show up at my polling place and it was busy (by Nebraska standards, meaning I wasn't the only person there). I walk over to my table and there are 3 lines with a small number of people on each one. I get on the shortest line. I get to the front of the line and the lady hands me a ballot.
"Don't I need to sign in or something?" I say.
"You didn't sign in???" she replied, looking at me like I'm from Mars.
"Not yet" I say as I hand the ballot back.

If anyone wants to vote 90 times in the Nebraska elections, come on out to Hamilton County! And by the way, I think our voting booths were also used in the decision for statehood. They're that old (probably as old as the ladies working the desk).
