I Voted

I voted about 15 or 30 minutes after the polls opened. There was some people already there when I voted. The local news media reported there was a higher than normal voter turn out already at least at some polling locations.

We have a hotly contested 8th district US congressional race. The incumbent Rep. Hostettler vs. current vanderburgh county sheriff Brad Ellsworth. I have some issues with both candidates but in the end I voted for Hostettler.

Hostettler got an "A" rating from GOA. Ellsworth has no response on the GOA web site. Both have a "A" from the NRA. Recent polls showed Hostettler losing to Ellsworth.

Well I'm not sure if the "views counter" counts everytime I look at this page or just once for me for all the times I look at this page. If the former, then this could explain the seeming imbalance.

edit: Well I just clicked the link several times and the number of views stayed at 650. Guess that the latter is true, but mods could confirm for us.

I voted yesterday. I follow national and states politics very closley. I'm sorry but I voted party line after much thought. Go Martha Rainville! Essex

We voted

My wife and I voted this afternoon. It's something we consider a responsibility, as well as, a right.

Yes, I voted. Even though the wife is not a member here, she will vote tonight about 5:00 pm so count me for 2.

Just got back to work from voting. Picked up the wife, voted, went through Taco Bell, dropped her back off, came back here. 1.5 hours. Waited five minutes for a booth to vote in.

I voted this morning 45 minutes after the polls opened.

Colorado needs to get behind Beauprez for gov. Polls were showing Ritter in the lead last week.

Ritter's people sent out a flyer a couple weeks ago saying "Bill Ritter upholds your 2nd amendment right to hunt and fish". :barf:

I voted for quite a few Republicans, as well as for legalizing pot. I feel as if I should be experiencing some sort of cognitive dissonance....

I know how you feel. There have been some really odd resolutions lately. :D

Me and my lovely wife voted.
I think we will have a low turnout here.
It has been raining all day.
