Interesting rifle. But i cant quite follow their description: a representative example of a prototype 1901 carbine assembled using later 1903 parts and a modified Krag sight. Says chambered in 30-03. But still quite intriguing.

Sounds like a clone/replica/scam, depending on your point of view and legal representation…

I am surprised that the .284 Win has not yet been named, the basis of many a wildcat, indeed, among them one of my new favorites, the 6mm-284. The 35-284, 338-284, 6.5-284 and the 25-284 all have a following, though 6.5-284 is probably the best known, a one-time F-Class darling.

The 284 was also the parent case for the 475 Wildey Magnum. The Wildey is pretty much obsolete these days as well, but still a pretty famous offspring due to it's use in the film Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.

As I understand it, the 250 Savage lead to the 300 Savage, which lead to the 30 TC, which with the bullet from the 260 Remington, spawned the 6.5 Creedmoor, which lead to the 6mm Creedmoor.
