In the hot and humid environment around here, wearing a long shirt untucked is about the equivalent of wandering around in a vest or with a fanny pack all the time.
Sounds right, but the inevitable citing of the exception doesn't belie the point. Dressing to conceal the more serious weapon almost always means being less comfortable than you would like to be. Scaling of the weapon for concealment may mean that it is a nasty little sucker to shoot without downgrading the ammo with the size.
Back on topic, I think the 327 Federal Magnum solves more problems in concealment than originally allowed, most models now defunct. My SP101 in 327 Federal Magnum is a superb concealment weapon in many respects. Those hung up on what the caliber is not are missing the boat.
