Why do some retailers demand a fax/scan/copy of a driver's license for ammo purchases and others don't? I've ordered ammo several times from Midway and Cheaper Than Dirt with no ID. I went to order a case of Golden Tiger from AIM Surplus and they want ID. Impact Guns and Ammo Man have similar rules, IIRC.
I am of legal age to purchase ammo, but I'm not surrendering personal information to a company that might mishandle such information. I'll pay the extra few dollars and buy from Midway. Sorry AIM!
