Open vs Concealed Carry

Here in MN I can open carry with a carry license. I was just wondering what you guys think. I know a few of the pros and cons already but do you have some more in-depth opinions to offer?

Like you said both have there pros and cons. I prefer CC only because I don't like to sand out in the area im currently in. However one day, i would like to give OC a try. It is much more comfortable.

Open carry UNloaded, as some states require, seems like a good way to get your firearm taken.

I open carry loaded for bear quite a bit. But never unloaded unless I'm transporting--which is very different from carrying.

Open carry makes you a target, you carry a gun for self defense...why let the BG's know you should be the first one shot? Open carry also sets you up for having your gun snatched, BG's practice this a good bit, they even have videos of them practicing it in prison. One last thing, do you want every cop that sees you asking to see your permit?

Funny. I was just thinking it had been nearly a week since we argued over this. 'Bout time someone started up the argument again.

If you want to know what "we" think about this, just read through some of the threads where this issue has been hotly argued over -- in the last three months.
