Open your nightstand and take a picture

I don't exactly have a nightstand, so this is tucked behind the headboard and a 92FS is on a ledge next to the bed. :D

I hope you guys are not sound sleepers, as I would hate to think a criminal who broke into your home during the night would find your weapons on obvious display for use against you.

Our dog sleeps in the bedroom with us. I don't care how quiet you are, she will hear you and start barking. And I don't care how fast you are, you're not going to make it up the stairs and into the bedroom before I open the nightstand drawer and retrieve my Glock 23.

I would comply with the OP, but I don't think my wife would appreciate me flipping on the lights and informing her that "I have to take pictures of our nightstands for the guys on THR." Will get to this tomorrow.

There isn't anything but a bunch of crap in my "dresser" drawer (which is actually a desk). However, next to the desk is a Rem. 870 12 gauge shotgun. ;)

Edit: I also sometimes have a Becker BK7 (7" combat/utility knife) on top of the desk as well, but I'm not sure exactly what I'd do with it. :uhoh:

Can't take a pic as I'm out of the country, but I have one of those finger-button pistol safes bolted to the table next to my bed, with a loaded P99 and and 5 00 buck shells. In my closet is an empty Mossberg 500. If something happens I grab the P99 so I have something ready to go if I need it NOW, and then load up the shotgun if I have time. I keep the P99 in a Uncle Mikes clip on holster while it's in the safe so I can clip it on if I use the shotgun and have a BUG. There's also a Surefire E2D on top of the safe.

The top drawer contains an XD-40 Service with an extra magazine, a surefire flashlight, my wallet, keys, pocket knife, a small try of ammo and a dish of miscellaneous pocket stuff.

The middle drawer is full of holsters, flashlight holsters and magazine pouches.

The bottom drawer contains bed linens.

My wife has a S&W Model 34, .22 snubby in a drawer next to the bed on her side. I put a Model 10 on the floor next to my side at night, then put it back in the closet in the morning.
