Opinion Of Sigma?

Sigma's are reliable. However, the trigger is terribly heavy. Because of this, it takes a ridiculous amount of patience and marksmanship to shoot is accurately and proficienlty. You are better saving and spending and extra $150-200 and getting a Glock with a good trigger.

Put another 200 rounds through my SW9VE Friday. Very pleased with it. Accurate, and reliable.

Question: I have the Ten round Magazines for my Sigma. Would a 15 round mag fit my gun? Thanks in advance.

I just bought a S&W Sigma in 9mm. I've read about how the original version was a thought to be a copy of the Glock and Glock sued S&W. I've also read the second version is made with better quality control.
I just bought one. How many people how there own one of these? What Glock would you compare it to? Is it just as reliable? What do you thinK of it?
It wasn't thought to be a copy of the Glock, it was a copy of the Glock! You could swap out parts from the Glock to the Stigma, and folks did just that. People actually would use the sigma barrel's in their Glock so they could shoot lead.

No, really you are better learning how to control the Sigma trigger so that you are proficient with it. Once you learn how to do this you will be tremendously better with any gun you pick up. I know because I spent time learning how to be accurate with my Sigma the last 2 years & now I can out shoot everybody I shoot with. Just saying...

ET, well said. Took my Sigma 9mm to the range for the first time about a month ago. Yes, trigger pull a little heavy. The more rounds I put through it, the more comfortable I am with the gun. I recommend the Sigma 9mm!
