FN .308 Patrol Rifle

Truly like new with less than 50 rounds fired FN PATROL RIFLE in .308 Winchester. These rifles are extremely accurate and a lot lighter than most police counter sniper rifles. It has a 20" medium weight match grade barrel, target trigger and Hogue synthetic stock. This is the best medium weight bolt action rifle and it would be great for police patrol, hunting, self-defense or target shooting. This rifle has several extras including Harris bi-pod, Weaver type bases, high mount rings and a like new ATN 1.5x5power illuminated retical scope. These scopes are bomb-proof and have extremely clear optics. Gun is 99% condition.

Looks like it might be useful but I have to ask the Cooper question
What is it for?
I'm not sure how it will do the job better than my deer rifle?

Andrew, I was thinking the same thing. Why high rings on that rifle?

Lessee.......if I were selling it, I'd say something like "reliable ejection of spent brass for quick follow up shots........"

I'd get a knowing nod from a prospective buyer.

How's that?

no thanks, got something just as good for much less money.;)

For those who didn't know already...

The FN .308 Patrol Rifle pictured above, along with the FN Special Police Long Range Precision Rifle, should look very familiar. Why? It's nothing more than a Winchester Model 70, with a McMillan stock, using the recently revived "Classic" claw-extractor action, vs. the post-64 push-feed version. Remember that Fabrique National owns both Browning and Winchester these days. ;)
