People I know who have died by being shot

Three members of my extended family have committed suicide with handguns, one was a police officer. My BIL was shot to death by an unknown assailant outside a Portland restaurant.

I was an eyewitness to the University of Texas Tower "sniper" massacre by Charles Whitman in 1966.

None of those tragedies have affected my opinion of firearms & the right of self defense.
