Cute, Tom  Actually I'd (almost) be interested in that (preparing for the next "Mariel boatlift" or hurricane Andrew (which I survived)/Katrina. Do you place them around your hanger too? By the way, do you still have the Twin Bonanza? I see that your A36 is equipped for long range (tip tanks, etc). With fuel at $4+/gal I'd be surprised if you have both the Tbone and the A36.

By the way both the flying show and PDTV are terrific shows. Even my wife watches them when my work schedule permits.

'See you at Lakeland for Sun 'N Fun.

I do still have the Twin Bonanza. Flew it back home to Louisiana from Nashville yesterday. But, I just put an ad in Trade-A-Plane (Shotgun News for airplanes) this week.

Getting the Bonanza out of the paint shop this weekend -- in for touchups.

Thinking of personal defense and safety, more than a million people in the Pacific Northwest are without power. Most don't have water put away, or food, or a generator, or . . . name it.

We have three hikers on Mt. Hood, holed up (I hope) in a snow cave. No PLB with them? See www.equipped.org for more info on PLBs. I bought one.

Nature just doesn't care and is not impressed that we are "civilized." In a minute, it can take you back 500 years. If it's cold, you could be in real trouble.

And, of course, you need firearms as part of your survival equipment.

If you go off-road, get a PLB!

Actually Breitling has a watch with a small ELT built in. Those guys on Mt. Hood are in real deep doo-doo. I think you're right though. An ELT type device surely would have helped.

DVD Set

Feel free to release the series to DVD.

In fact, that's one series that wouldn't be harmed by leaving in the commercials.

Yes, I even watch the commercials. Sometimes twice.

I'm going back and watching the first season over again. Good stuff.

When is the next season going to air? Have you started filming yet?
