Pistol- caliber carbines

I'm a pistol caliber rifle convert. I have scoped bolt action rifles in 30-06, 7.62x54, .303 and 8mm. I own semiauto in 7.62x38 and .308. But out to 100 yards my little .40 keltec sub2k will hold its own! It's low recoil, accurate and very reliable.

I agree with the previous posters that it dosent pack the punch of of a 7.62x39 close up. I'm of the opinion that a .402 diameter 155gr gold dot moving at 1425fps should let some goblin know that I'm thinkin about them;)

One of my next purchases will be a .357 lever action and if it ever comes out a hi-point .45.

M1 Carbine would be my choice, as they weigh as much as a 22, have the power of a HOT .357.

Marlin Camp guns beat up their plastic buffers. High Points just don't appeal to me. Beretta Storms have plastic sights that just looked CHEAP to me. HK type clones and pistol cal. AR's are all pretty spendy. All the tommy-gun style semi autos are REALLY heavy.

I have a Marlin levergun in 44 magnum--while it's handy it's not meant for one hand use in an emergency--like say a semi-auto Uzi can.
