Haven't shot much all Winter, and it shows. The 422 ought to hold the mini-mags in 2"! These are 2 handed Weaver. The Speed-six was shot single action. Looking for a good plinking load and 158gr SWC hot load for the .38, but I'll never know if I don't do my part off a solid rest!!
I keep forgetting to print out the specified target and take them to the range, but I hope this is close enough.
Both series are 2 handed, standing, at 15 yds., slow fire in an indoor range. Each dot is 10 rounds.
The 6" dots are with a Glock 19 with WWB 115gr FMJ. (Stock with Mepro night sights.)
The 3" dots are with a Browning Buckmark 5.5" Camper. (Stock) Federal Lightning .22LR. The photo is not upside down, the target was this way when I shot it. The far right dot is 2-10 rd magazines.
Hello all.
I just started pistols 5 weeks ago, so i cheated and shot at 10 yards instead of 15 (I wanted to hit the target for the most part) .
This is with a S&W M&P9. I hung the target upside down so there was room to clip it on the holder.
I will get better in time I will post another one in a few weeks and see if the groups are tighter.
1st I shot three sets of 16 rounds each, S&W 627PC, at 15 yards, using hand load of 158 grain MagTech SJSP, 7.8 grains Unique, 1.590" OAL and WinSmlPist-Mag primers (about 1200 fps).
1st set was 2 handed, on a shooting bench, with my hands resting on a sand bag.
2nd set was standing, two handed, in weaver stance.
3rd was standing, two handed. in isoceles stance.
Isosceles
These might be the best results I shot this month. I will attribute it to the easy view targets, plus maybe taking a little more time ... trying to look better than I really am.
Hey Paul, the pillow is just a backdrop for the photo. I didn't take the photo at the range, lol. BTW, thanks for the compliments. I've actually put in a better performance than that, just last week.
Went back to look over Challenge #1 here.
Man I'd forgotten how great the response was and really enjoyed seeing everyone rising to the challenge regardless of current shooting level.
All of the challenges are still open to anyone wishing to take them.
Yes my P90 and P345 both like that load. The P90 likes it better though. I'll have to photo and post the target I shot with the P345 for this challenge. Not as good but still not bad.
