Question about XD .45

I just bought my XD .45 yesterday from Gander Mountain. I haven't fired it yet but I noticed when I put a fully loaded magazine in it, the magazine rattles from side to side slightly. Is this normal? I've never noticed this in any other handguns I've fired. Any advice?

Mine wiggles a little too from side to side, never noticed it till I purposely checked it due to your question.

Normal, from responses I've gotten relative to the same question. Also happens with my HK USP fullsize. In both cases, doesn't cause any issues.

My buddy's XD .45 rattles also. Didn't seem to bother it when we ran 300 rounds through it last Sunday!

I just got mine back from Springfield and that was one of the things that I was concerned with (I was already sending it in anyway) and they said it is fine.

I just find it slightly annoying. Tomarrow morning will be my first time firing it, so I'm pretty pumped. From what I heard they're great guns. I traded up my S&W Sigma 9mm for it. The Sigma had an even more annoying attribute (about a 10lbs. trigger pull) that drove me nuts.

The rattle is fine and it makes a big enough BANG that you wont even hear it after a couple of rounds.

Excellent choice, congrats on it. You will love it.
