Quick, grab your nearest gun..... and tell a little about it. (I did this thread on another forum and it's made for some fun discussion and cool pics.)

Currently, my closest gun is my Arsenal SGL-21. I bought it a few months ago and really like it. I changed the grip to a US PALM AK BG and the stock to a Vltor tube with A2 stock. I usually run Tapco 30rd polymer magazines.

What about you guys and gals?

Depends what room I'm in. Living room, Kimber .45, Ruger MkII or Rem 12 guage.
Bedroom#1 downstairs, Astra .41 mag or Moss shotgun.
Kitchen, Springfiled .45 or Ruger .327 mag.
Upstairs bedroom #2, Ruger .357 or Moss shotgun
BR #3, Ruger .357
BR#4, Kimber .45 or Rem shotgun.
Bathroom #1 Star 9mm
Bathroom #2 Taurus .327
Bathroom #3 Very hard and heavy roll of toilet paper.

This is a Nerf Raider. It relies upon air spring pump action. Loaded is a 35 round magazine with 29 foam darts in it.

Before you moan, I did grab the nearest gun I could get (since I'm at college in Maryland!). You didn't say that it had to be a real gun, so no moaning!

Lord have mercy! Using that method of storing guns, there's no need for a gun safe! Lol

Crossman 760 Pumpmaster, with five .177 cal pointed hunting pellets in a clip.

Nearest knife is a Mora Classic No. 1

You see, this morning I was in fear of this tin can out in the yard, so I shot it. I used the Mora to sharpen a downed tree limb, which I stuck into the ground and then set the tin can atop it.

A warning to other tin cans to stay off the farm.

9mm CZ phantom. Loaded with 17 +p 124 gr hst.

Its my go to gun and quickly becoming the only handgun I carry....sorry sr9c.

Crap...I didn't see we were including toy guns.....fine then. 3 nerf guns, busted up mp-5 airsoft gun, and a busted airsoft beretta m93r thrown under my bed. I keep trying to throw them away, but they're too much fun to shoot when its been a long time since a range visit. Plus it drives the fiance crazy =D

There are guns all over the house.

Here near the computer desk, by the back door are a..........
Streamlight TLR-2 laser/light equipped Winchester 12 ga pump,
a Crimson Trace laser equipped S&W Model 60 38 in a hoister hanging by the back door.

On the computer desk is a Ruger LC9 and a NAA 22 Mag. I usually stick the little gun in my pocket when walking around outside.

Under the computer desk is a PA-63 9x18 on a magnet.

A few feet away is a Ithaca 12 ga pump and a Red Dot equipped Taurus 17 HMR pump rifle.

Last, on a shelf is a ATI 92C 9mm.

Now in the other rooms............................:D

I have my LCP .380 in my pocket right now and ALWAYS have it on me while relaxing at home while wearing my basketball shorts.

but, sitting on my recliner now... within arms reach is my Glock 19 filled with speer gold dots.

G26 Glock with fifteen Federal 115 JHPs in a G19 magazine.
(I keep it condition three)

6.8 AR right beside my desk. It is not loaded though, I was just working on it last night. The nearest loaded gun is a shotgun hidden a few paces away where it always stays.

It would be a S&W 457 filled with 230 GR Gold Dots. I didn't even have to move other than moving my arm. Yeah it seems to follow me around a LOT.:D
What's in your hand now??:D

The gun closest to hand for me is my Marlin 1894 in .45 Colt. It's fully loaded with 10 250gr XTPs that leave the barrel at about 2,000 fps. It's like a poor man's 450 Bushmaster :)

The firearm "nearest" to me is a Hi-Point JHP. Not much to say about it except I know it'll go bang if I need it to. Don't worry... I'll not cause anyone visual trauma by posting pics. ;) I keep it loaded with 230gr Federal HST.

Now that's funny.

Colt Magnum Carry.

125gr Remington Soft Points.

'My Little Pony' has a big kick.

These were made for one year only by Colt as they slowly got out of the revolver business. I handled one at a gun show and decided I MUST have one. My search took 4 years or so to spy one lightly used in a gun shop in Denver. Three old timers were sitting around drinking coffee in a sort of 'lounge' area and they all looked a little miffed at a long haired artist buying a gun out of the case that they'd all been ogling. I paid about half of what they are selling for now.

Right now ... The Mossberg 500 leaning in my corner of the bed.
5 rounds of either buckshot or pheasant loads, I am notsure, but I am sure it would make mevery unhappy to catch one in the chest.
