I'm a work so I just have my NNA 22 mag, it's all I can carry at work, got my Skky 9mm in the glove box of my truck tho.

Had a close friend who departed this world several or more years ago. His neighbor was beat up and robbed by a felon who knock on his door and barged through. Charlie carried a small 38 special in the middle of his back in a holster with the butt exposed out of his trousers. He would answer the door, one hand on the door knob, the other bhind him on the pistol ready to pull it out if needed. I know I visited him many times. I am sure he slept with it in a handy location too. Pistols all over the house are dangerous for kids. Be Safe.

In the drawer by my right knee. A S&W Model 40 made in 1964. Picked it up about 20 years ago from a dealer in CA. Previous owner stored it on a boat in a marina and it corroded over 100% of the metal surface in the salt air. Smith parked it over the pitting and I bought it cheap. Been a favorite carry gun since it can't be damaged any more than it is and if it's lost or stolen I shed no tears over it. Works fine, just horribly ugly.

Got the service style stags for $6 on ebay.

Living room end table..... Colt Single Action Army .45 LC
Bedroom night stand.....Colt 1911A1 commercial...mid 1930's mfg and an 1878 Colt Alaskan in .45 LC

That would be the Kimber Tac pro II on my hip

Even when it comes it off it usually within arms reach. If I am on the computer it is on the table near my right hand. If I am laying on the couch it is on a small table where I can reach it easily. If I am laying in bed it is on the night stand. There are lots of guns all over my house but this is still usually the closest one.:neener: sometimes it would be a tie with the LCP in my pocket.

tie
1918 Colt 1911 and 1912 Colt 1908 pocket hammerless.

I just finished cleaning both of them after yesterdays range visit.

Usually it's 44Mag in a New Model Superblackhawk.
Hey Lat, if I ever visit y'all, Please keep me out of # 3. I prefer soft and light.

directly to my left on my bed is my Taurus PT111 Mil Pro, loaded with 12 rounds of 115gr. Tulammo 9mm. Sometimes I just feel malicious and load crap into my handgun. In the bathroom's my el cheapo H&R Pardner Pump, Tacticooled on the cheap, and loaded with 5 shells of 3" 00-Buck. In the kitchen is my No.4 Mk.1 Enfield, loaded with 10 180gr. Softpoints.

Taurus PT22 in the desk drawer, by my left knee(lh shooter)

SS and Pink Pearl grips, it's the wife's pistol, but it's nice and small and fits in the drawer nicely.

I have this bersa that is always hugging my hip begging to be fed. But I don't mind, Bersa is satisfied with feeding once a month and is real light so I don't mind carrying it around too much. It did the darndest thing the other day, I was giving it the monthly feeding and it just gobbled up all the ammo I could give it, I swear the thing is a bottomless pit. It has never once upchucked ammo and seems to like everything.

Quick, grab your nearest gun..... and tell a little about it. (I did this thread on another forum and it's made for some fun discussion and cool pics.)

I thought we were telling family stories, yet I don't see anyone doing that.

Old 30" side-by-side 12 guage that's been in the family for a couple generations sits in my closet about 5 feet away as I write this.
