Which of your guns would you most trust to work right now?

Many, Ruger Security-Six is my bedroom gun, mossberg 500 in closet.

My POF AR 15, followed by my NEF shotgun, can't get much more reliable than a single shot, if the trigger breaks, i can just get a hammer and hit the pin!:D

Wake up in the middle of the night and it is my KP345 (I like the idea of a DA trigger until I am fully awake).

If I am awake and have a couple of seconds to think I would slap a mag into my DW 1911 and start loading my Benelli Nova.

For those of you saying all of them, are you saying that you have never had one single failure of any kind with any of your weapons? If so, I envy you.

I never seem to have very good luck with this stuff. And by good luck I mean 100% reliability. I know that if I go grab any one of my weapons, they will fire. But the little fact in the back of my mind that some of them, if only once in their life, failed to function flawlessly, is what sparked the idea for this thread.

Should be "which of your guns would you not trust to work right now"
Everything but the 597 Remington works every time.

Easy

G19/Makarov/SP 101 are the ones (any of which) I figure I could pick up in a life or death situation and have absolute confidence in it.

Even my WASR10, although 1st I want to take it to the range and see if it still works after having sat under water in Galveston for a couple of weeks courtesy of Ike. I've racked the slide and will pass a patch through the bore and thats all I'll do :D

I didn't say "all of them", but yeah, I've never had a failure. That's why I buy Rugers. :D

Well, the .41 Swiss rimfire ammo I have for my Vetterli M.78 is pretty old, so I probably wouldn't grab that one.

Oh, and the repro Colt 1860 doesn't sit around loaded. It's too much fun to dry-fire and "help" the good guys in the western movies. So count that one out, too.

Oh, and the 83mm Blindicide shoulder-fired rocket launcher -- WAY too much collateral damage. I mean, a few random holes in the wall for ventilation is one thing, but adding an entirely new egress ...

I don't have quite as extensive a collection as many here, but all of the weapons I own are in prime condition.

That being said, my S&W Model 19 has never let me down.

What I have on me or close to me at the moment, it would be my G20 and WASR-10.

With that said, pretty much all of my guns would do except my one and only shotgun...which is a SxS.

Benelli Nova! It is the best pump ever made. I've shot everything out of that gun and have had absolutely ZERO problems with it. I don't have another gun that has that kind of record, they've all had some problem at one time or another.

Both of my 870's
Then the Ruger Vaquero or the XD
Then the mini 14

All of 'em. No internal locks to fumble around with for me!;)

Handguns? . . . pick 'em up, point and click.

Rifles, carbines, shotguns? . . . empty chamber, just rack and bang though.

The kids have flown the nest and no young'uns are in the house so I practice "house rules" for gun safety . . . and that is "All Guns Are Loaded!". Treat a gun that way and it will not hurt you!

Heck, an unloaded gun could GET YOU KILLED (before you can load it or flee);)

The S&W Model 36 in my front pocket has never failed to fire. However, the Rossi .357 above the TV is just as reliable, as is the Mossberg 500 sitting in the corner.
