I guess I will send mine back
The trigger is not the same after 300 rounds,I will have that checked also
I was looking at my gun under an eye loop and it looks like I also have a crack on the hammer catch which is right below the hammer

I signed up at least a month ago, but still haven't received my shipping envelope and instructions.

Is it time to call Ruger, or is it supposed to take this long?

It appears to be ongoing - I've seen folks like Mudflap have sent their's, others have their's back.

It's not going to happen overnight for 63,000 owners. Be patient, it's not an instant gratification process.

More like a baby.

You'll understand later in life.

Sent mine out on Dec 11th got it back on the 19th free clip and the LCP cap and just like the person before me. I'm sure glad to have it back. The Ruger service is "GREAT" No regrets on this end.
I'd buy it again in a heart beat, this gun is accurate as heck.

Mine is being picked up on Monday to go back. I am strongly considering selling it as soon as I get it back.

What everyone keeps forgetting is that there is really nothing wrong with the LCP. Its the same as the Keltec P3AT. The only difference is that Ruger fears lawsuits and is willing to spend money to protect itself. This goes back a long way with Ruger to the days of the old Model Blackhawk. Keltec can't afford to do a recall to correct this issue. So if you have a Keltec, your gun has the same problem as the LCP, its just Keltec can't address.

I estimate I signed up 4 to 6 weeks ago online, and havent heard back either.

I signed up online 10-29-08 and got everything to send it off 12-16-08. Letter said hopefully 2 week turnaround.

I've had mine back for a while.

Trigger feels a little different now, and the improved slide stop catch is a big improvement.

The free mag and LCP ballcap sure come in handy too !

I've seen this posted in different ways over the past few weeks, but I haven't seen any data backing it up. Do we know this is a fact?

When I get mine back I'm gonna take it out and run all the .380 ammo I have through it and see if it earns its right to stay at my side. I was thinking about selling it as soon as I got it back but then what would I do with the 200 rounds of .380 I have laying around?

I will give it a 2nd chance.

LONE GUNMAN; Kel tec couldhave had a recall years ago, they choose not to do so. They have never had a recall for any issues, such as recoil springs coming out the front of the slides in less than a 1000, guns. That is not an expensive recall. Many of their needed recalls could have been tracked through serial numbers that gave the issues, again they choose not to..
Difference between Ruger and kt, big time IMO.They will never convince me that the kt's didn't have drop fire issues either, The hammer blocks were identical (interchangeable) Humm wonder why kt made a hammer block change about 4 months ago????Could it be they knew the Ruger had issues and theirs being the same exact part-HUMM, inquiring minds would like to know.
