If Condi runs
If Condi runs, it would present a unique challenge for the demos. First, the demos don't even have a prayer without a huge majority of the black vote. Not saying that a majority of blacks would vote for Condi, but I suspect that a significant percentage would, simply because they would consider her as a candidate logically. She wouldn't be dismissed as easily as most other Republicans. Secondly there is the Black Pride factor, and some would love to have a black President. Difficult times for the Dems.
Considering that, they might even have to think of a (gasp) black candidate of their own. Hmmmm. jesse jacks-em? al sharp-tongue? louie farracan? There are a lot of others, but you get my point, not an honest person among them. Then there is the problem of getting the balance of the number required "undecideds" to accept the low life candidate available to them. That assumes that the black community voted en masse for that candidate. I also assume that even some whites that vote demo usually would defect from such a ploy.
