Sad news about a member expat_alaska

I post this with a heavy heart. My friend, expat_alaska a.k.a Jim has passed on. His daughter called me today with the news.

He was a wealth of knowledge and always eager to help. He will be sorely missed.

R.I.P my friend.

Some of you are members of the Muzzleloading forum, others may not be... Jim had friends there as well... this was a good man.

Indeed, Jim left a wide trail throughout the blackpowder community. And he was a gentleman to boot. When I say he will be sorely missed, I don't exaggerate.

I think this above all else would make Jim smile. He was always worried about the future new generations of black powder shooters, finding the information that they needed to get started. I'm sure he is well pleased right now.
