Want to hear something real messed up? Last summer while I was waiting for my permit paperwork to get back a town police officer went around and knocked on doors of people on my street asking "how they felt about Josh having a pistol permit?" First of all none of the people on my street know me, second I dont want people around here knowing I may of may not be in possession of a handgun on my person. I just dont think it was right for them to be going around asking the neighbors how they felt about me having a pistol. Since in CT its not a law to conceal, yet you will lose your permit if your shirt rides up and someone calls the police saying they saw a gun. You will lose your weapon and permit for breach of peace! This was told to me by the assistant chief of police. Last of all when I do carry my 1911-A1, its covered up and in my Crossbreed IWB holster. Now no matter what I'm doing even if I'm just walking my dog my neighbors give me the worst looks like I'm a criminal.
