Seattle Utah Class Update

This is the current list, I have heard from those in all caps and passed along more information but based on "COUNT ME IN" responses to the original thread I have included you on the list. This is a little over a week away and I don't need it falling apart.

Class is on the 21st in Bellevue.

I'm out anyway. I just got a big bill in the mail, and it turns out that Texas, where my sister lives, now honors my Washington permit. Have fun, guys

Absent some sort of emergency, I will definitely be there. I would appreciate advance notice, if possible, about anything we need to bring to the class other than a check for tuition. My local PD only does fingerprint cards on certain days, and I have to make an appointment.

All you need is the $$ for the class and a writing instrument and paper. All of the notary, fingerprinting, photo's etc... is done on your time after the class and then sent in to Utah separately from the class.

What you get from the class is a completion and a stamp and signature on your Utah application from the instructor that you send in with everything else.

Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks to RWC for the information since the instructor is on vacation until next week.

Does Everyone Have the information they need???? Baring a death in the family etc... I am planning on those "I'M IN", "COUNT ON ME" individuals to show up. Everyone has been very appreciative and thanked me for the time and effort I have put into this and I don't need it falling apart in the 12th hour.

Here is the summation:

Monday Night 6pm to 10pm South Bellevue (I sent the address to you via PM) If you didn't get it let me know.

Bring $75 for the class ID, pen, paper, and something to eat (no food break).

I will be offline most of the weekend.

Ok, here is the deal, the class is full. Everyone should have a PM from me with an address. The instructor will take check, cash or mo. ($75) bring picture ID and a pen. We might be a little cramped in the space due to the number of people and my potential lack of remembering how many are coming so be prepared for that.

Just adding my thanks as well. Was nice to be with such a personable group of folks from many different walks and get some good no-frills, to the point instruction on Utah law and refresher on gun handling safety/practices. Kudos to instructor Don and Polishrifleman!

Repeating what everyone said, but it was a good and interesting four hours and a nice bunch of people too. Just got my fingerprint card today, then off this week to Costco or Kinkos for a picture and then notorization. Finally!

I dropped my packet in the mail to SLC today. I will report back on how long it takes for me to receive the permit.

Still waiting for mine, hopefully soon, although I delayed a little before sending the stuff in. If I don't have it by the end of the month I will begin to wonder.
