As another fellow 10mm (Tanfoglio Stock II), I'm a little curious to all the sudden interest of the minor 10mm rebirth going around. I took my toy bag out to the range today to test some upgrades, and even in its -semi-completed refinish-in-progress, I got a lot of nice compliments to its performance. (Yea for no malfunctions!!)
As stated in more than a few posts, I've had both the block 20 and this witness/Tanfoglio, and comparing both on grip comfort alone, the Tan wins hands down. Pretty darn skinny for a double stack, and I do CC it in a shoulder holster when the mood strikes me. With my new springs, it holds 12+1 at present in the two 'factory' mags (with Wolf springs now) and 16+1 in my Henning mag.
Nothing like shooting up $50 bucks in ammo in two sets
I'm really looking into that .40 barrel... (And I ordered a set of Hogue wrap-around grips after seeing Intercooler's. Hope they're as nice as they look!)
