Serenity / Firefly...??

Finally got around to renting/viewing Serenity the other day......OMG! Fantastic, had to watch three times, loved the firefights!

Amazon and others have the Firefly series out on DVD now. Is this worth purchasing?
Is Sci-Fi channel still running this????

Since you enjoyed the movie, yes the series DVD is worth purchasing. Plus you get the whole back story to the movie.

The Firefly DVD box set is absolutely worth purchasing. I enjoyed it even more than the movie.

Gotta ageee wirh Duke, the series was better IMO. The movie was a bit faster paced, but lost alot of the subtle humor and banter between characters.

What in the GorRam are you waiting for? You did buy the DVDs right? They are very worth it. I bought the DVD set and my gf and I watch the whole season in 3 nights. It is an awesome series. It took some getting used to the horrible Chinese they speak in the show, but after while it was funny as I tried to understand what they were trying to say. Enjoy fellow Browncoat

Erik, if you're strapped for cash, you might consider haunting the local used video store or pawn shops to see if anyone's hawked their set. You could probably pick it up pretty cheap that way.

Yes, big difference between browncoats and brownshirts,
though the good guys did wear tan shirts with their brown coats.
