Someone plays too many video games

Geez people, the antis would love this drivel. Some good points made by our moderators trying to keep us on track. Some keyboard commando machismo to say the least.

If there are no means, opportunity or intent you don't shoot, period. Simple as that.

And let's face it, people do dumb things. If they don't threaten my life or family, they deserve to think about it in jail when the cops, who are paid to pursue criminals, catch up with them. Maybe a cell phone camera pic...yah right, like I'm going to be able to get him to say cheese before I call 911.

Anecdote that happened in college-
On the home front, I had a good guard dog once that was a shepherd mix. She alerted me of a prowler that kept coming around about 3am in the morning as a college student. Well, on the third visit, the dog alerted me, we both bolted to the back door. I threw it open (shotgun in hand mind you) and let the dog go sort it out with the trespasser. I thought I might regret it and hear some gunfire when the perp was dealing with my dog, but thankfully this did not happen. Dog came home 15 minutes later, our visitor never returned. :D

If you are in my home, you will be shot, without any further question. Anyone that is willing to enter my home without asking is a threat, no two ways about it.

If I catch you breaking in my car, I would hold you at gun point until an officer arrives or you can make some quick get away.

Any act of violence on my family will be dealt with accordingly. Each situation is different, but if you act with violence to us, I will respond with violence in my defense. An eye for an eye theory applies here, as long as its safe for us.
