Bob, depends how far away it is, if it actually blows. Even a house full of propane or natural gas will only cause external damage within a relatively small radius. Even when the house is completely leveled, people sometimes survive within the house itself.

The hypothetical was a meth lab next door...not a bomb shop down the street. Toxic fumes...psychotic tweaker zombies coming and going day and night...

A meth lab run by a certified chemical manufacturer won't pose a threat to anyone. And it won't be in the house next door.

Legalize EVERYTHING. Take the black market money out of EVERYTHING.

REGULATE it all.

Regulation works one helluva lot better than prohibition.

Stills blow up too. When's the last time you heard about one? You don't get Anheuser-Busch doing a drive-by on Miller...

Legalize it.

Regulate it.

Of course, then a LOT of folks will be looking for new employment - Buncha DEA folks, buncha corrections folks, and Andy and Barney may have to go back to dealing with just run of the mill public safety type of stuff.

The war on drugs didn't work. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of paying for it.

A house next door emitting toxic meth lab fumes is not really a danger to those next door. It's only really a toxicity threat to those within the house. And I'm all about arresting psychotic tweaker zombies, whenever they pop up.

Imagination

So, Azizza, dude.

When you know more, please feel free to start a new thread.

The lack of facts is making imaginations work overtime.

I'm so glad I had sense enough not to post my own views in this thread.

Sometimes, the only way to win is . . . not to play.
