They're baaack!

And whether you believe they'll try another gun grab in January '07 or wait till after they get the white house in '08, they're almost certain to try for new legislation/restrictions/bans/ etc. at least a few times in the next couple of years. With that possibility in mind, what's on your "must have" shopping list to get before the next round of politics as usual?

At a minimum, my list would include:
A few extra so-called 'hi-cap' magazines for guns already owned.
A new 30/30 before Ted Kennedy has THOSE banned too.
A much deeper stockpile of ammo for everything i own.

So, whether you're willing to give the dems. the benefit of the doubt and adopt a 'wait & see' attitude, or you began feverishly burying your guns in your back yard this morning, what would you really like to have on hand just in case they get really serious this time?

I'm pondering at the moment buying recievers for the guns I really want in the future in the expectation that the AWB will raise it's ugly head.

I still need a .308 scoped, accurate semi, and a similar rig in .223, threaded for suppressors. The $2000 price tag and other needs have kept me from buying it up untill now.

Shopping List for Armeria del Tejon:

1. Stripped receivers, mostly Rock River AR and 9mm carbine (only $155) and M 14 Receivers. My brother, father and myself are getting the funds together to ensure we have plenty of receivers to build guns later, for the nephews as well as ourselves.

2. I am buying as many magazines as I can lay my paws on. M14, G3, FAL, AK, AR and Glock 17 pistol mags. My brother has standardardized on the same weapons so between us and my father we intend to have more is logical.

3. I will get at least one more DSA FAL this year.

4. I will pick up an AR180 as will my brother (he wants one for the wife) thise year.

5. I will pick up at least two Fulton Armory M14s by January.

6. Next I will purchase at least one XCR which I pledge to purchase from a certain gun dealer in Utah who gigs me for mocking the hype of the gun culture.:neener:

7. Then I will get a AK106 if not two.

I may get a RRA M16A2 copy or two to bury and would love to have an original AR10 copy (for memories sake, my uncle had one).

I've talked to my family on Tuesday night. We refuse to let them disarm us and pledge to be a force for economic growth in the gun industry.
