A friend gave me my first two Glocks.
The first a G17. Can't think of a thing I liked about it. What a brick. (that's actually what my friend calls his Glocks, "Bricks".
I gave it back.
The friend later gave me a G26. I really tried to like the gun since I returned the first one.
I couldn't find anything likeable about the gun. Just a smaller brick.
I gave it back.
Later I borrowed the G26 to let a new shooter try it. New shooters hear about Glocks, so I let them shoot one. Generally they don't like the thing.
This time when I tried to return the G26 my friend said,
"Don't you even think about bringing that thing back in my house".
So I have a G26.
Later a lady friend was going to trade her G19 in on a 20 ga shotgun. She bought the gun, then didn't like it. She would only get about $250 in trade. To save her too big a loss I bought the G19 for $400. I leave it in the car 24/7 for a car gun.
Later I bought a like new G33 for $350. I didn't want the gun but the man needed money.
I'm not crazy about the gun but I like the 357 SIG round.
A couple weeks ago I bought a G42....... just because.
To my surprise I like the gun. The best thing I can say about it is, it's not like a Glock/brick.
..can anyone honestly tell me what I am over looking,if I am overlooking anything at all. Thanks
Just get what you like and want. What others say means not a thing.
There's a lot of good guns out there.
