I don't know if I am going to buy anything. I have plenty of everything that is currently not being produced for the general public.
Something I might do though is to get several of my AR15s registered as SBRs and then put a bi-lock on them so I can use them all with a suppressor.

The biggest thing I am lloking forwad to is being able to get real magazines for my ruger 10/22's. I had one of the 35 rounders and it is a boat load of fun.


Non-neutered magsfor my Glock and CZ will be nice, but I already have some for each of those. I do see the possibility of a 16" and a 20" AR in my future though.

I am saving up to buy as many stripped AR15/AK/FAL recievers as I can the very next gun show after the sunset. The way I see it, spending 1,000 on 10+ freshly ban free recievers is a better deal than spending 1,000 on a single all the bells and whistles AR-15. Especially if Kerry god forbid wins the national election and manages to cram a new AWB through.

Actually, abundant and affordable new production 20 and 30 rounds magazines of good quality for the Mini-14 would be nice. That, and a folding stock to make it _really_ compact.

Back in the early 90's, I had a stainless Mini-14 with a Ruger folding stock.
Even then, however, finding reliable high capacity magazines was a problem as Ruger won't sell them to civilians.

None of the magazines I tried were reliable, and I must have spent $200 on different makes of magazines.

At that point, I gave up on the rifle, sold it and bought a Colt AR.

The ban sunset won't help you a bit as far as mags go.

If the AWB goes away, I'm going to be poor and busy.

1) CAR-15: 16" barrel, flash hider, and side-folding stock.
2) Flash hiders for all!!
3) 20 round AR-10 Magazines... at least 10 (once they drop below $20).

The AWB sunset could be the economic stimulus that this country needs.

The prices on AR's isnt likely to change at all. It costs just as much to make a 'pre ban' as it does to make a 'post ban'. All of the companies making ARs have continued making them with all the evil features for law enforcement and for people with preban receivers. The prices are all the same.

Why not buy the receivers now? There's nothing different physically between a pre- and post-ban AR, AK or FAL receiver, and a post-ban stripped receiver you buy now will have the same legal status as a pre-ban after the sunset.

I am not sure the ban will sunset yet, and if the ban gets extended I would rather buy complete guns.

If the AWB is not renewed, and that is a BIG if, then I will probably have a real flash-hider installed on my post ban Bushy, as well as my FAL.

I would also like to put a side folder on my Saiga 12 guage.

I will probably stock up on high cap mags as well.

Flash hiders. I'll bet we'll see a lot of busy gunsmiths threading barrels upon a sunset ... for a little while, anyway. Folding stocks will experience a bounce as well.
