Just got one last week...used w/ 3 mags for $250..I put a mag thru it on the weekend,in the yard, just to see if it worked..no hang ups and it shoots POA at 7 yards...tonight I'm using it in IDPA and will havea report in the morning...I like the fact that I can use my Glock holsters for it.I'm a lefty and finding holsters is always a pain.I called Taurus and they're sending me a manual.I like the size of this gun and the grip fits me well, and it points naturally.I was going to get a Glock 26,but saw this guy and the price was right,so I figured I'd try it...more tomarrow..

Ok..here's the scoop....shot the IDPA classifier last night with the new pt111..absolutley no problems...90 rounds no hangups...shoots POA.This gun hardly recoils at all ....I love this gun...I no longer have a desire for the G26.I also found another magazine at a local shop. Now I just need to try some different loads in it,and I'm ready to carry it.All in all for $250 ,I'm pleased as pie!

I'm happy with mine

Chose PT-111 as my first carry piece in May and after ~500 rounds through it I'm a happy camper. DAO took me some getting used to....but nothing to difficult.

I'd love to try out the new PT-111 with the SA/DA trigger.

Yep, it is a true single action right from the first round on.

The only way to get double action is with a misfire and than the trigger will go double action and c-ock the striker for a second strike.

just bought my pt111 pro 2 weeks ago...i've got 200 rounds thru it so far with no issues...i agree, it is a pleasure to shoot...mine is not terribly accurate, but i'm not too concerned as it's not really a target shooter...all in all i'm very impressed with fit and finish and overall quality of this Taurus...it has me considering the Taurus 1911 as my next acquisition
