Got My New CZ 75B Today!
I finally picked up the CZ 75B I ordered two weeks ago. NIB, but manufactured in 2002. Came with a factory-mounted FirePoint red-dot sight. I replaced the stock grips with the very comfortable Hogues. I was skeptical about the sight, but figured that since I got the gun for $320 otd (w/FFL), I might as well try it. And boy am I happy I did. After getting it zeroed, the bullets just went where the red dot was. It's certainly a much more accurate gun than I am a shooter, and it sure beats the heck out of the loaner P38 I was shooting, which liked to eject cases directly into my face.
Anyway, this 4" - 10 shot group (it came with 10-round mags, two 16-round Mec-Gars are on the way) was shot at 25 yards. Okay, okay, I was resting on the bench and working on zeroing the sight. Still, it puts them where you point it.
Love this gun! Thanks again for all the advice here - you pushed me away from the Glock 17 and Beretta, both of which I had test fired. I bought the CZ without shooting it first, but just liked how it felt in my hands.
