Nothing short of a 45-70 loaded with at least a 400 gr bullet made of the purest silver.

Or I suppose a reasonably sharp sword moved swiftly from left to right at about shoulder level might do the trick (or not - granddad just picked his up - put back on his shoulders and made dinner out of the sword wielder).

Anyway, here's a pic taken with my trusty old digicam (emphasis on 'old'):



I took a couple of shots where you could see the rifling all the way to the rear of the barrel, but everything else was very blurry. Oh well.

Yes, I triple checked the action and there wasn't a mag in the gun. The trigger was in the rearmost position. I had just finished cleaning it and was absolutely certain that it was unloaded.
