I appreciate all the input.

I am discovering that being small, short-waisted, and pear-shaped presents significant challenges in gun choice for concealed carry.

I have a Mill Pro 9..DA only......yes it fits my hand. but.....I should've have gotten the da/sa model......crisper trigger!! not mushy, Now Taurus has a Slim model 9.....hhhhmmmmmm

The 1911's usually fit most hands well, but my hangup with them is the whole 8 round limitation. I think the CZ82 is an excellent weapon,13 round capacity,very reliable, compact, and a naturally pointing handgun. The 9x18 is at the lower limit for self/home defense though,so everything's a tradeoff. If price isn't a huge issue, it's hard to beat the good old Browning Hi-Power, as others have stated. I think it's a much more capable weapon than a 1911 with proper ammunition.

Look at XDs . . . or Milleniums . . . I have both & like both (tho the 1911 platform is my fav & likely ever will be). I'm one of those folks who happen to have hands in which Glocks just don't feel comfortable . . . fine handguns, just not for me.'

Just picking up a Kel-Tec is uncomfortable. They're all prickly and uncomfortable

I bought a Taurus PT99 a few months back...my first gun...I've put probably 700 rounds through it and I really enjoy it. The weight is nice, it's very comfortable in my hand, it's easy to break down and clean up and fairly accurate at 25 yards. I think the difference between the 92/99 is an adjustable rear sight. And since I live in MD I don't have the luxury of concerning myself over "can I CCW this"

All in all, I think for the price I did well. Though I've no experience with the CZs and personally don't care for the Glocks but my sister's is growing on me. Did you try the baby glocks maybe, she has a G26? The tiny 9mm whichever that is and I don't mind shooting it...Might fit your stature.
