I'd vote for Paul except he blames us for 9/11. I am not saying we have been perfect in our foreign policies, but the only people responsible for the towers coming down are the terrorists who planned and carried out the attacks.
For now my vote is "none of the above".
The options amount to either "no" or "who?".
It's still too far out to care much. Half the candidates are going to burn out before the primaries, at which point only about a quarter on the poll's list will matter. After that, I'm afraid the options will be either vote for a Democrat with a (D) after the name, or vote for a Democrat with an (R) after the name.
So what did he say? Basically, when people don't like your foreign policy, don't be surprised at their actions. Blame wasn't a factor. Like everyone else, he recognizes that killers are to blame for killing.
Of course there are other factors, and since you're on this forum, you should recognize the part that making aircraft "gun-free zones" played in the attack.
Yep Ron Paul blames us for 9/11--IF YOU BELIEVE A LIAR LIKE RUDY GIULIANI.
Go back and listen or read what Paul actually said not Rudy's talking point. Of course if you believe Rudy on this you probably also believe that Rudy is a stalwart champion of the 2nd Amendment and a wonderful family man. You probably also believe that Rosie O is a stunning beauty.
After looking at all of those names, I carefully choose me. Unfortunately, I'm not on the list. But if I were, I think I'd get at least two votes, my wife and I. On second thought, better make that one vote.
How could you leave off the least worst Democrat, Bill Richardson?
Richardson is at least better than Ghouliani, McCain and Romney on the Republican side, and definitely better than all the other Donks.
I got no problems with a Thompsen/Paul ticket, though. Tancredo would probably be alright, too, but he sticks his foot in his mouth enough that he could be easily painted as a xenophobe.
If Paul and Thompsen don't make it past the primary and Richardson does, I will likely hold my nose and vote donk in '08
Dr. Paul is really making some waves, though. I've read as much about him in the press as I have about any of the other candidates. I agree that he is a long shot, but I can't believe the attention he is getting on a national level.
