To carry or not

So, I am resolving to carry when I go out. I have always kept a J frame in the garage to take with me when I feel like it, but I think the world is getting to the point where I need to carry the P365 with an extra mag essentially all of the time.

Carrying a firearm is smart, but will not solve your problem.

Good thing Texas has gone Constitutional Carry.

I try to always carry. I can't choose when bad stuff will happen and that demands that I must always be armed. I don't get much joy when I think about the whys. I was in a hurry the other day and rushed out the door without my edc. I started to pull out of the driveway. I remembered and stopped went inside and got my edc. Again, I don't get to choose when and that means I always must be armed. Our society and culture is riddled with crime and hate. I don't want to be the next victim. Best wishes!

You do normally carry while in the house, right? So to forget the gun would be an unusual circumstance where for some reason you had it removed from your normal carry position.

All that is true but I don't shower with it. It sits on bathroom counter while I shower. I was late and dressed quickly. I was happy I didn't forget my keys. Feeling rushed can lead to bad outcomes. Best wishes!

One option, unless you want it in reach from the shower, just in case, is to put it in your pants pocket while you shower, so that it is ready to go, and your pants stay in the bathroom. That is how I usually do it, though I admit to having left it on the counter when I forgot to put a clean pair of pants in the bathroom.
