S&W M&P 9mm Pro Series (4.5" barrel)

I have owned guns ranging in price from $400 to $1800, and the M&P Pro Series is the best gun I have ever owned.

JQB has it right. Better a 380 in your pocket than a 44 mag in your safe. If we knew we were going into a potential gunfight, most of us would not make a handgun our first choice.

If money is no object, then it would be a Browning Hi-Power that is nickle plated, fully engraved, and carved pearl grips. But since money is a object to me, I'll stick with my Glock 19.:D

I would give the nod to the Kahr PM9 for size and weight. I have a PM40 that I carry a lot.

Baby nine

The nine is my favorite round in real life. The gun I would like is in my imagination. Very small, da/sa, cheap very small ammo. Ammo must be sufficiently lethal. Hammer fired. Double action would not throw your aim, but still safe. Small ammo could be double stacked (20 + rounds) like the Keltec pmr 30, but much more lethal (one shot kill) and smaller, the gun too, like the Beretta Bobcat. A super bullet 22 size. Hardly any flip back and no muzzle flash. $15 for 500 rounds. Quiet as a sub sonic 22 so it would not damage my hearing and legal. The perfect gun. I know, I'm dreaming. :)

What makes it your favorite?
It's very accurate.

It's very reliable (no magazine, no ammo sensitivity, no failure-to-feeds, no failure-to-ejects, no "stove pipe" failures, etc...).

It offers a wide variety of carry options (holster outside the waistband, holster inside the waistband, holster inside the pocket, inside the pocket with no holster, even "Mexican" style: in the waistband with no holster).

And, most importantly, it's the only 9mm handgun that I own. ;)

Novak's HRT customized Browning Hi-Power. That's about as sweet as it gets witthout going the BBQ gun route.

Wow. OP sure is immature.

A Glock 26 with 10 rounds weighs less than an empty P7, and the Glock certainly isn't the lightest thing out there.

The P7 is awfully cute and clever. I thought I'd like one till I handled one, but it felt totally wrong the way it balanced in my hand.

First pistol I wever bought was a llama mini-max II. It was a 1911 Commander frame 9mm. I sold it to put money down on another gun. I really wish I had it back now, Ive been looking at RIA's lately. I will most likely buy a CZ RAMI or Glock 26 this Christmas Season.

If money really is NO object...HkP7M8.
because its really an expensive collectors item, Maybe the coolest single stack 9mm ever.

For most americans...Glock 19/26.
Maybe the most reliable and combat accurate 9mm ever.

HK P7s aren't really supposed to be that expensive. It's not like they're rare. There are some people who think P7s are naturally worth close to $1000 but I think that's obscene. I bought my HK P7 PSP for $550 and it's in excellent condition - shoots great too.
I understand that the M8 is more expensive than the PSP but not by a lot - usually about $50-100 more. I don't understand why so many gun shops charge close to $1000 for even the PSP (like my local Cabela's).

I am pretty sure for the last ten years the Hk P7M8's (not PSP which of most are alot older used police trade ins pistols.) were selling for over $1,000.00 brand new. The Hk P7M8 was being made new by Hk up untill 2007.
My dad had one in the 80's IIRC the price was like $700.00
Used 15 yr old Hk PSP P7's are going for around $600 to 700.00 but the mags are expensive.
