I love reading this. My favorite is;
Arizona’s Kiss Tactical’s Facebook page also carries a story about denying a California police officer’s request to purchase an AR-15.

On Saturday I refused to sell a AR-15 rifle to a police officer from California. He came into my shop and wanted to buy his duty gun in AZ because the same gun in his home state would cost him more. I told him that I would not sell him the gun even though he had his department letter saying he was able to buy it. I told him that if the gun was not legal for law abiding men and women in CA, I would not sell it to him. after he told me that “civilians don’t need them type of guns” I asked to leave my shop. as he stomped out mad.

Many Gun Manufacturers and Retailers are refusing to sell guns and ammunition to Law Enforcement in New York and other antigun states. The latest report on The Blaze claims that "now over 44 gun companies have stopped selling to law enforcement" in states that limit a private citizen’s right to own a gun.

Here is a link to the last article on The Blaze, Gaining Momentum: Now 44 Gun Companies Have Stopped Selling to Law Enforcement In Anti-2nd Amendment States by Mike Opelka. This is followed by a partial list of manufacturers and retailers who have taken a stand. Their statements are linked to the names or go to the article.

Where are the big players like Smith & Wesson, Rock River Arms, and Armalite. If they aren't on the list they shouldn't be supported.

Armalite has made a statement, and they will continue LEO sales to NY. There are recent threads here on THR that discuss how people feel about the Armalite decision and what they think the outcome of their decision may be.

I like the idea of gun (and ammo) companies boycotting anti 2A states, but one name you won't see on the list is Colt. They abandoned civilian sales years ago in favor of military and police contracts. I suspect they would be happy to suspend all civilian manufacturing to supply ARs to MA, CT, CA, NY etc. and if even one company crosses the picket line it will be useless. In the end it may be useless even is all agreed to it because they would send agents to buy guns and ammo from out of state sources. Or the feds would supply them through their channels.

Saxon - you look a bit disgusted in that pic. Doubt people will be insulting you to your face (re: your signature line) dressed like that with that look on your face! Also, given your participation & tenure on this forum, you're likely armed too!

I asked Barrett for a copy of their letter when I placed an order earlier this week. They gladly obliged and even printed it on very thick, high quality paper so I could frame it. The only error was they put 2012 instead of 2013 on there.

Beretta is threatening to move out of Maryland if they peruse any further anti-2a legislation. I know it's not the same, but its something.

Their official position is that they refuse to sell to agencies, but will not deny sales to individual officers/deputies.

Some people are really mad about this. IMO, it's a stronger stance than you're likely to see from Colt, S&W, Beretta, Glock, H&K and others.

We're not going to see any stance from the big boys of LE contract gun manufacture. Glock has three of every four NYPD cops packing Glock-19's, there not going to be joining in on any patriotic boycotts.
