I recently purchased a Ruger Precision Rimfire Rife in .17 HMR. What an accurate and easy shooting firearm! Even with my 75 year old eyesight and an economical Sig Whiskey scope, I could easily fit groups inside a quarter at 100 yards. I'm thinking about getting a Ruger Precision Rifle in 308 and was wonder who has experience with one (in any caliber). I have a Windham Weaponry AR-10 (SRC-308) which I like very much, and it shoots well enough, better than I can shoot it - 2-3 MOA at 100 yards, good enough for me at least. I shot the buffalo at Whittington a few years ago with the AR-10 (only took 18 shots). Ha! Anyway, I'm thinking of selling my AR-10 and getting the Ruger Precision Rifle as a replacement. Just wondering what experience is out there.
