All thats left is a trimmer and some brass. Any ideas what I can expect when I start looking.

you should be able to find 45 acp (you may have to ask around), 223 will be harder

    Don't need to trim 45.

Find the components to reload with before fretting over brass.

I've seen 1000 rounds of .223 brass going for over $200, which is crazy.

Amazingly, I have over 700 .223 from going to the range. The vast majority of folks do not save their brass, and give it to me (to clean up) for the asking. Same with 45acp, though I bought a couple thousand rounds of that for about $50 per thousand.
