When you go to the range or your favorite plinking spot to do some handgun shooting, what do you take with you?

1 Guns
2 Ammo
3 Targets
4 Rest
5 Something to hang targets with
6 Some sort of cloth to wipe down my weapons
7 Tools (in case anything needs to be fixed or tweaked)
8 Something to drink
9 Eye and ear protection
10 Cleaning supplies

My trips to the range have turned into a major affair.....I make sure I have everything I need. It usually takes 3 trips from the car to the benches to get all my stuff there.

Everything listed by Damon555 and

Knife, tape, stapler and a garbage bag which always goes home full of trash left down by the targets by range pigs.

Always my carry gun. Usually my High Standard .22 target pistol. Whatever else strikes my fancy. Always eye and ear protectection. Spotting Scope or binoculars. Targets. Cleaning rod. at least 100 rounds of ammo per pistol.

S&W model 41 (.22 cal).. 586 or 686 revolver (8 3/8' barrel) and sometimes a glock model 23.( Out of all the stuff I own, these are being carried most right now.. Paper plates to shoot at.. Just mark the center with a bright orange marker. Ear protection, and sunglasses (Oakley wrap-arounds "M frame Heater")... Ammo, cleaning cloths..and towels to put the guns on.

Depends on the reason I'm going to the range.

Sounds kinda self explanatory in the question right? Nope. Not in my case.

If I'm shooting an IDPA match, I take my carry gun and only that (unless I'm selling something which I'll put on display at the "safety table"). I take my best competition attitude and enough ammo, plus the normal safety equipment that is standard for all range trips: Eyes, ear muffs, etc)

If I'm taking my 27 year old daughter to the range with her gorgeous looks, I take my best Dad's attitude (keep your eyes on YOUR OWN paper target buster or I'll remove them) and her favorite 22 auto plus one of my nines.

If I'm taking an individual or small group for the final phase of their CCW class with me, then it's my best pro attitude and my best teacher attitude (easy since I've been a teacher in an inner city high school for 19 years) and a variety of guns ranging from my 22's to a 45. Clients buy ammo, targets, range fees and lunch, plus my time.

Other than these times, I don't go to the range just for myself unless it's to wring out a new gun purchase for street carry and ammo function checks with all brands and bullet weights I normally carry.

Since I am heading to the range after work.....
In my Jeep today is my target stand, targets, tape, and my pistol case.
In the pistol case are 4 handguns and sufficient ammo for them.
In my pocket is a fifth handgun.

If I am just going woods-walk plinking....I'll carry one .22 rifle and one .22 handgun with maybe 300 rounds of whatever works well in them.

my wife

well....i dont pack her, but she likes to practice too
so it is something we like to do together

and....she doesnt like me going alone either....

so it is a great excuse to get out of the house and have some fun

and......get out of any jobs that might need being done around
the house (we refer to them as honeydew items)

i am always looking for some excuse not to mow the lawn or
split or stack wood!

Guns, ammo, stuff to keep brass in, sunglasses, at least two sets of eyes and ears, cooler with cold drinks, duct tape, small tool kit, and cleaning kit.
