What I find depressing here is how many women don't carry!

Women actually need to carry more than us men.

My wife is "Happy"

I don't carry yet, I need to get fingerprints and paperwork notarized, but I've got a Taurus PT22 and a Ruger LC9 - I plan to carry the Ruger as much as possible but with some outfits will carry the PT22, I figure even a .22 is better than nothing and I don't want to purse carry.

After my wife qualified for her Texas CHL using my Kimber .45, we determined that there were too many things to remember about using a semiauto for her, who has zero interest in guns and shooting other than for self-defense.

So we made "her" gun my S&W 940 9mm revolver. The moon clips made loading and reloading the revolver about as easy as it can get.

It's still her house gun, but she let her CHL lapse, and hasn't expressed any interest in renewing it. I periodically make sure she knows where it is, and that it's loaded, but that's about it as far as her interest in guns.

She carries a Ruger LCP religiously but her favorite is her Sig 232. I bought her a Sig 239 which she never carries because it's too heavy for her, go figure.

My wife likes my Colt Government Model .380, in Colt-gard. She also will carry her Ruger Security-Six, with Federal .357 Hydra-Shoks.:)

Depending on her schedule, she either carries a SIG P238 or, preferably, an S&W M&P9C. I also typically carry a carbon-copy M&P9C as an EDC, but swap for a BodyGuard .380 occasionally.

My wife has her eyes on either a Sig P238 or P239, she hasn't decided which yet.

5'7" 120lb. Her current SD choice is her 90lb Doberman. Thing is monstrous next to her.

My wife usually carries her Kel-Tec PF-9, but she also has a S&W Bodyguard 380 for those days she wants to go super small, and a Taurus PT92 for those days she wants something a little bigger. For a woods gun, or days when she feels she has to one up me, she has a Tracker 44 that she carries.

Bersa Thunder 380. She also likes the Ruger 22/45 but decided it doesn't make big enough holes. She could carry almost anything in that big purse of hers...

56 y/o usually has a 38 on her waist. For the 4 tmes a yr she has to get real dressed up a small NAA 22 mag secrets nicely.

Mine carried an airweight 38spl.for a couple of years, but I brought home a
A PM9 for myself and being she was sitting on the front porch when I got
home.Well she lets me shoot it once in awhile,She goes nowhere with out it not even to the mail box.
