If I can come up with a muzzle brake/flash hider that will tame the ear splitting blast from my Kel Tec PLR-16 it will become my primary house and car gun.

But for right now I've got guns all over the house.:)

How novel a M44 fireball in a handier carrying case:D . Be sure to "wear your sun glasses at night (Corry Hart)". Night vision, what night vision? I love it :D .

I have a Polish P-64 in 9 X 18 Mak. (Hornady JHP/XTPs) for things that go screaming into the night if I catch "em:evil: .

Smith and Wesson model 625 .45 ACP revolver loaded with 230 grain JHP +P ammo.

i'm 17 years old, and this is my first gun bought with my money. Cleanest, smoothest pistol I've ever shot (revolver, that is). Not letting it go for a long, long while. After Smith and Wesson, I don't think I'd ever buy another type of revolver.

Depends on which room I'm in!

1911 in the bedroom. 9mm Kahr in the office, 9mm Glock 19 in the kitchen (along with a .38 in the same stash).

12 Gage pistol grip (folding stock) shotgun in the closet..not loaded, but ammo close at hand.

I do swap pistols around...it's about time to rest the 1911 and put my .357 revolver in the bed room.

(The Glock and .38 are my carry guns...they don't get a rest)

Not likely that someone will be reading this far but for what it's worth. It is usually my Sig P220 with night sight, crimson trace grips and surefire. If for some reason I went to the range and did a lot of shooting then one of my .357's takes it place either the GP-100 or SP-101.

Ah, my friend, but no...some of us have been reading this thread since it's inception.

We get email updates when another post is made, and eagerly check to see what others at doing for HD.

Keep posting, and I'll keep reading...

1st grab is my Remington Riot Pump in 12ga.

2nd grab is one of my Wilson Combat 1911's.

3rd grab is my Taurus PT-145.

I just hand my wife a Louisvelle Slugger and send her out to deal with it. :neener:

Seriously...I have a 3rd Gen Glock 17L next to the bed with a light/laser combo (let's face it...it IS a ridiculous carry setup). It has a 17-round mag with a +2 floorplate. It is loaded thusly: Chambered, and the top five rounds Glaser Safety Slugs, followed by 13 rounds of 124 +p JHPs from Cor Bon.

I figure the top six rounds are Glasers because I am, after all, indoors. The following Cor Bons, are nasty little buggers, that WILL go through something IF I need them to.

The light/laser combo were a stocking stuffer from the wife...and she likes that I have it on something!

Glock 27 with 180 grain SXT's in dresser by bed. 20Ga 870 loaded with Brenneke slugs and Winchester 4 buckshot in the closet. 3 cell maglite on bookshelf.

A four inch, 1/2 lug, fixed-sight GP100 loaded (currently) with Winchester 158 grain LSWCHP+P .38 Specials. Its purpose is to get me to a Remington 870 Police loaded with a considerably more convincing argument.

Whatever pistol I am currently carrying - USP C 45 (today).

My shotgun and rifles are always accessable.

I always have a snubbie on hand...S&W Model 60-14 loaded with Winchester 38 cal. 158 grain LSWHP+P and equipped with LG-205 Crimson Trace Laser Grips. I always carry while at home and the little Model 60 serves as my answer the door and bump in the night gun. I have several snubbies and never leave home without one.

Good stuff

I don't believe in handguns for home defense. A handgun is what you use to fight your way to a rifle or a shotgun!

I keep a Mossberg 590 w/ "00" buckshot in my closet. There is a Ruger p-95 I have, (and it stays in my glovebox more often than not, which is legal in mo since we got the ccw law w/o a permit! but i do keep it in my bedroom as well) That being said, I live in an urban area, and keeping an MBR locked and loaded is a stupid thing to do unless you live in the country.

If I ran out of ammo shooting BGs w/ that Mossberg, and had to switch to my Ruger, I'd be in a world of hurt anyway.

My Glock and my surp CommBloc stuff stays locked up most of the time

Right now it's either my CZ P-01 w/ a spare mag, or my Springfield 1911 w/ 2 spare mags, and a Streamlight TL-2 for illumination. When I get my Mossberg 500 squared away (got to pattern the buckshot I'm gonna use, possibly get ghost-ring sights) then that will be in the mix as well.

.239 in .40 with Lasermax. Sometimes I switch just for fun. 1911, 686, CZ75B...
