That would be awesome!
Exactly. I'm kind of in an argument with myself over the holidays on whether I want to get the CZ P-01 I've been drooling at for so long, or go for the K9 instead.

An X-frame in .223 and/or if possible 7.62x39. I am pretty sure both cartridges fit the oal specs within frame and the pressures don't exceed max capability of current .500 cylinders (correct if wrong please). I would think a lot of folks would love shooting the 7.62 based on ammunition cost alone.
Being tapered cartridges it might be a bit more expensive producing the cylinders but someone smarter than me will explain about "set back" and why this probably won't work as these round would probably seize up or prevent smooth operating action.

Ruger 10/22 in .22mag.

I know there are design issues related to using the .22mag for semi-auto rifles and carbines, but it would be nice if someone would really dig into making it work somehow.

I know I looked into this a while back... I can't remember if I found high-priced custom ones or not. But a mass-produced, affordable one would sure be nice!

A Webley top break with a decent trigger and modern metallurgy, strong enough to stand up to a steady diet of .45 ACP.

Roger that! Put me on the wait list for two MkVI patterns, a 4" and 6", and while we are dreaming, an 8 shot Fosbury in .38 Super.

A bare bones HD .44 sp revolver-- blue, 4 inch barrel, comfortably stocks, fixed sights. I have an old Taurus that fits the bill, but I wish ruger or somebody would make an updated version.

If I had the option of one upgade, it would be for vent rib type barrel.

+1 on the Ruger Six series, and while we're on Rugers,, bring back the .357Maximum in the Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk and get Rossi, Uberti, or Marlin to make a lever rifle/carbine.

Oh yes, affordable guns in general. I'm tired of all this gouging.

M41A and heck, it doesn't even have to be in 10mm caseless. I'd be perfectly content with .30carbine or even 7.62x25 as long as the mag capacity was still 99 rounds. Oh, the full auto and 4-round burst... I'd still need that.

Interesting thread.

For me it would be
1) New Colt Diamondback and Detective Special
2) New Ruger Redhawk in 357 Magnum
3) New Ruger SBH in 357 Maximum
4) New Colt Gov 380

Less likely
1) New Broomhandle mauser
2) New Luger

CZ Compact variant in single stack .45
Sounds like a Dan Wesson Guardian

Yeah but that's still a 1911. I'll probably get flamed for this... but I want a bobtailed commander in DA/SA with a decocker

I want a striker fired handgun with a very light and crisp trigger and a thumb safety. The cycling of the slide would cock the gun almost completely. The trigger would have some take up, and the let off would be like glass. The thumb safety should be ambidextrous.

A Glock with a competition trigger with the addition of the thumb safety would do the trick.

Prolly already covered but:

1.) Broomhandle Mauser in 10mm, 9x23Win, or .38 Super, with detachable magazines and buttstock. A Bergmann M1910 would also work.
2.) An H&K P7 in .45 ACP (a P11?), with a better magazine release.
3.) An H&K MP5 in 10mm.

There are quite a few I'd like to see produced.

HK USP in .357 Sig, 9x23 and .400 Cor-Bon. Updated with a 1913 rail in place of the proprietary rail.
HK P30S in .375 Sig.
HK UMP made in the US to avoid all the moronic 922r garbage.
HK MP5 made in the US for the same reason.
HK reintroducing the P7.
FN SCAR in .300 AAC Blackout.
Browning Hi-Power with a factory beavertail and a grip just enough longer to accommodate a 15 round mag.
