However, by the time I paid for an 82 and then paid to have it refinished, I might as well get a new 83. That's all I'm saying. It's just a money thing.

I was actually asking a serious question. I didn't realize the 83 came in anything but 9x17.

Picked up the Judge last weekend...but also added a RIA 1911 .45 which I didn't have on this list.

Still like to add the others, but it'll likely be awhile now.

American Classic 1911. I handled one at a local shop and it was love at first sight. The finish is nice, the polishing of the feed ramp was flawless, the frame to slide fit has NO play at all, and the barrel has almost no movement when in battery. I have it on layaway now!
